The Mediterranean is the land of wine, and that makes Malta the island of wine. There are two varieties of grape in Malta, the Girgentina and the Gellewza.
Many Maltese wines are made from imported grapes, but its all from the Mediterranean, so how could you go wrong?
The two prominent wines of Malta are Marsovin and Delicata, and not too expensive either. The alcohol content isn’t too high, which is a good indication of quality and taste. Find local wines in shops and restaurants in Malta.
