Entry and Customs in Malta

Please note that the entry and customs regulations when traveling to Malta are different dependant upon what country you are traveling from.
For travelers from the United States to Malta, a passport is required, but no visa for travel up to 3 months.
This goes the same for travelers from the UK, Canada, and Australia to Malta. Travelers from South Africa must have a passport and visa.
Please note that all travelers must have a return or onward ticket for leaving Malta.
Please note also that Malta is part of the Schengen area, meaning you can travel to any number of countries including Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, France, Spain, Norway, Poland, Sweden, and many other countries, freely throughout their borders with a Schengen visa.
U.S.A, Canada, U.K, Australia, New Zealand have there own custom laws with Ireland.
